Basic description

Quality ladder suitable as part of firefighting equipment, directly from the manufacturer and leader in firefighting ladders - JUST Leitern AG. The company has been on the market for more than 130 years. It manufactures these special ladders in accordance with the European standard, but also meets other standards (German or British). A manufacturer and supplier that constantly promotes new product developments in order to optimize them for all kinds of rescue actions and operations.

All this is embodied in this foldable multifunctional ladder with a lightweight construction. It will not get lost in the work of professionals. The sturdy construction, excellent stability and versatile use ensure comfortable and safe access to elevated areas. It is the perfect companion for rescue or firefighting work. A maximum safe load, to comply with standards, of up to 2 persons is possible.

Certification

The ladder is manufactured and certified to meet the British Standard and European Standard EN 1147.

European Standard EN 1147 sets out the requirements, test methods and design criteria for portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services and similar purposes. The tests specified in this European Standard are type tests, not periodic tests. Non-portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services are not covered by this standard.

Advantages of the multifunctional ladder

The multifunctional/combinable ladder is typical of its unique design for a variety of uses. It combines both a support ladder and a freestanding ladder. For fixing the position when unfolded/jointed, lockable safety joints/anchorages are used. They ensure that the individual parts remain connected during use. They are manufactured in an extremely strong design. The biggest advantage is, of course, the folding capability. This particular type of ladder can be stacked in various ways and used as a stand-alone ladder - step ladder or a leaning/sloping ladder. Thanks to the articulated design in the bends, it folds very well into a small size, making it easy to move around the workplace, transport by car and storage itself.

Basic construction material and quality

The quality of the material and workmanship of the ladder will exceed your expectations. The entire ladder is made of high quality alloy aluminium (aluminium alloy to achieve the required mechanical properties). The reinforced square fire rungs with a diameter of up to 28 mm are milled and permanently welded to the uprights using CMT technology, thus ensuring a secure hold. Not a single detail or defect must be overlooked in the manufacture of the ladder.

Connection technology

The rungs are welded to the beams using CMT technology - a cold welding process to achieve the highest quality. Compared to conventional welding, CMT works with very little heat input and an extremely stable arc.

Weathering

By using high quality alloy aluminium material and careful processing/welding of the complete ladder structure, considerable resistance to weather conditions has been achieved. Due to the material properties, the ladder cannot rust even if it is left standing in direct rain or exposed to other water elements for long periods of time. There is thus no risk of damage or wear and tear.
