PIR detector Radal CSA-PODW - cable - external

The CSA-DUAL detector is suitable for less controllable areas such as public toilets, cubicles, changing rooms, discreet areas, areas reserved for employees or public buildings where violations of the prohibition on handling fire or smoking tobacco products may be more frequent.

What can the detector do?

It is particularly suitable for motion detection in outdoor areas. Thanks to the SpeechPOD PIR motion sensor technology, it can trigger preset voice messages in the event of motion detection. This can prevent, for example, the risk of slipping on an icy surface, tripping over an obstacle or falling. It is also suitable for safety monitoring, infection control processes, hygiene requirements and a wide range of applications thanks to the combination of motion sensor and voice messages. A "Cleaner Mode" function can also be set. This feature will be appreciated by cleaning services who can preset a voice message to alert them to wet or slippery floors when motion is detected. The set time interval will automatically return to the original mode when it is finished, without the need for manual adjustment.

How is the detector powered?

It is powered by an external CSA-006 power module or by 4 AA alkaline batteries. A Fault - Battery is Low" voice message warns of low power and imminent battery discharge.

Can the detector be connected to another device?

The device can be installed stand-alone or can be wired to other devices such as smoke and flame detectors, PIR motion detectors, optical voice detectors or control panels.

If you would like to order a system consisting of multiple devices, please contact us by phone or email.

Where to install the detector?

Suitable for installation in open spaces, building entrances and exits, rooms with high ceilings or areas that are exposed to occasional smoke or steam.

Can be installed on the ceiling or wall.

Accessories:

For more convenient operation of a single detector or an entire system of multiple RADAL Cig-Arrete detectors, the CSA-IR2 wireless remote control (not included) can be used.
