BUFFALO all-leather ankle work boots have been manufactured with functionality and comfort in mind. They have a new patented BOA shoe closure method.
What are safety boots suitable for?
The optimum width of the footwear guarantees the required wearing comfort. The shoe upper is made of CRAZY HORSE cowhide with a thickness of 2 - 2.2 mm. The ventilation system of the shoe upper in combination with the lining made of the thermo-insulating FREE-TEX® vapour permeable membrane guarantees maximum comfort, ensuring that the shoe "breathes". The membrane consists of a "sandwich" of 3 special vapour permeable layers and one waterproof layer, together with the midsole and the leather upper of the shoe, forming the perfect solution for an optimal climate inside the shoe. It provides thermal insulation, vapour permeability and water resistance. The insole made of lightweight polyurethane absorbs shock and has a high energy absorption capacity when walking. It is anatomically shaped with excellent water absorption and drying properties. It has anti-static properties and maintains an optimal climate inside the shoe. The shoe has a modern heel design that ensures maximum foot stabilisation when walking and standing. The patented BOA® FIT SYSTEM brings a new way of closing the shoe. It is a closure system using steel cable, nylon wires and with a mechanical winch and has been designed to solve a list of shortcomings found in traditional closures. The soles feature a combination of specially formulated rubber compounds and are inspired by the unique technical tire design of the world famous MICHELIN® brand. They are resistant to contact heat up to +300 °C, fuel oils, cold and water and last but not least have anti-slip and anti-static properties.

In the development process, this system is an improvement on every other closure system on the market - from the lace with hooks to the buckle. The BOA® closure guarantees maximum durability, reliability and strength. The BOA® product suite is incorporated in United States patents, which are listed on the BOA® Technology Inc. website.
