PORTLAND all-leather, semi-heeled work boots have been manufactured with functionality and comfort in mind.
What are safety shoes suitable for?
The footwear complies with NON METALIC requirements, so is made without any metal components and therefore suitable for environments that require it. The optimum width of the footwear guarantees the required wearing comfort. The upper of the shoe is made of cowhide leather with a thickness of 2 - 2.2 mm (CRAZY HORSE). The ventilation system of the shoe upper in combination with the lining consisting of a thermo-insulating vapour permeable FREE-TEX® membrane guarantees maximum comfort, ensuring that the shoe "breathes". The membrane consists of a "sandwich" of 3 special vapour permeable layers and one waterproof layer, together with the midsole and the leather upper of the shoe, forming the perfect solution for an optimal climate inside the shoe. It provides thermal insulation, vapour permeability and water resistance. The insole made of lightweight polyurethane absorbs shock and has a high energy absorption capacity when walking. It is anatomically shaped with excellent water absorption and drying properties. It has anti-static properties and maintains an optimal climate inside the shoe. The shoe has a modern heel design that ensures maximum foot stabilisation when walking and standing. The soles are equipped with a combination of specially treated rubber compounds and are inspired by the unique technical design of tyres from the world-famous MICHELIN® brand. They are resistant to contact heat up to +300 °C, punctures, fuel oils, cold and last but not least they are slip resistant.
