Floodproof double chamber (tandem) bag is made of polypropylene. It is a very effective means of protecting property from flooding. The bag can be used to create a barrier against flood water, whereby by stacking multiple pieces of this bag, you prevent water from penetrating into at-risk areas, properties or structures and buildings. In the event of an imminent danger, a flood bag will increase the speed of response to a flood while effectively helping to reduce property damage.
The polypropylene from which this bag is made is a high quality and durable material. It is very strong and lightweight at the same time. It is also resistant to mold, moisture, mechanical damage and UV rays. This synthetic bag is cylindrical in shape and can hold approximately 25kg of sand or soil.
Apart from flood protection, the synthetic bag can be used, for example, to stabilise the terrain during the construction of protective dikes, during the repair of dikes or banks, for the storage and transport of bulk materials such as gravel, sand and other construction materials.

Approximately 30 tandem bags are used for 1 standard metre of dike with a base of two bags and a height of approximately 1 metre. You will need 25 - 30 kg of sand to fill one tandem flood bag. Place the bags lengthwise to the water flow. The bag must not be too full to allow it to conform in shape to the surrounding weave.
