Hütermann CO-90 CO detector with alarm, memory and LCD display

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colourless, highly poisonous, tasteless and odourless gas, lighter than air, non-irritating, slightly soluble in water. CO is produced by imperfect combustion in gas or solid fuel burners (boilers, karmas, stoves, etc.) Elevated concentrations of CO in the air are dangerous to humans, preventing the transfer of oxygen through the blood, causing nausea, dizziness, unconsciousness and even death at high concentrations.

The autonomous CO (carbon monoxide) detector Hütermann ALARM CO-90 with built-in siren is excellent as a prevention device for the home. It monitors the surroundings and measures the current carbon monoxide concentration. It has an integrated internal memory, which is an indisputable benefit in cases of your absence. It displays the measured CO concentration on the screen, and if it is exceeded, the alarm continues to sound to alert the user.

What can the detector do?

The detector is highly sensitive and stable. When the maximum permissible CO concentration limit is exceeded, it triggers an acoustic signal. It displays the measured values on the LCD display and, thanks to the internal memory, it also signals an exceeded level that may have occurred in your absence. The device indicates status with a siren and 3 LEDs for alarm, error and power, which means that it not only indicates when the CO concentration has been exceeded, but automatically diagnoses its own functions, displaying any errors and monitoring battery life. It is very energy efficient and indicates low batteries.

How is the detector powered?

Using two 1.5V AAA batteries (not included). It is very energy efficient, therefore the battery life is several years. It indicates low batteries and uses an LED to indicate the end of battery life.

Where to install the detector?

Probably every user will appreciate the easy installation, maintenance and reliability. It can be easily placed virtually anywhere: in a caravan, house, apartment, boat, simply anywhere where fossil fuel burners such as fireplaces, stoves, gas boilers, heaters, barbecues, gasoline generators and more can be found.
