The fire extinguishing system is designed to provide reliable and automatic protection in the event of a lithium battery fire. The LPHSWLI9 CONNECT extinguishing system consists of a cylinder, 9l cartridge, 1m long flexible hose, pressure gauge and ampoule.
The flexible hose is one of the main advantages of the UNIEX LPHSWLI9 CONNECT fire extinguishing system, as it provides the possibility to adjust and direct it directly to the location of the stored lithium battery. The hose is very flexible and can be easily shaped up to an angle of 45° and can thus, for example, be adapted around various obstacles or guided directly to the lithium battery or equipment where fire protection is required. The flexible hose can also be used in confined spaces such as garages, caravans and storage areas. The hose guarantees direct application of the foam to the focus of the fire. This will increase the efficiency of extinguishing and minimise damage to the equipment around the burning device. The end of the hose is fitted with a pressure gauge and ampoule. The ampoule can detect a rapid rise in temperature in the surrounding area. The ampoule is capable of responding to a rise in room temperature from 68°C (68°F). It then gives an impulse to extinguish.
The local foam extinguishing system is installed by hanging, with flexible hoses that adapt to the location of the device. The supplied bracket with straps must be used for fixing.
An example of the location of this UNIEX LPHSWLI9 CONNECT extinguishing system could be a parked caravan or an unattended lithium battery warehouse, where this extinguishing system will guarantee automatic immediate action in the event of a fire and can thus prevent large-scale damage.

This extinguishing system is mainly used in indoor environments such as warehouses and commercial premises. For example, it extinguishes electrical substations, electric scooters, electric bicycles, battery storage, bicycle batteries, scooters and other lithium battery powered equipment.
The fire extinguishing system is suitable for extinguishing classes A, B, D, F and for extinguishing electrical equipment up to 1000V from a minimum distance of 1m.
