Description
Polypropylene, which is characterized by chemical and mechanical resistance, was used for the production of the low sorption carpet. The carpet belongs to the STANDARD product line. The carpet is a very effective means of capturing spills that occur over a larger area. It protects the floor under machines or in busy corridors and prevents slippery surfaces from forming when dangerous liquids leak. The roll of carpet is supplied in dimensions 40 cm × 60 m.
Benefits
Due to the large internal volume of the fabric and the large surface area of the microfibres, this sorbent has a high sorption capacity
Thickness of the textile sorbent
Thelightweight sorbent is a fabric with a lower basis weight and thickness. It is very well suited for use in the event of spills or in operations with lower loads or lower risk of large spills of hazardous liquids.
Textile sorbent design
The carpet is excellent for covering large areas, for example under machinery or in busy corridors. Suitable for everyday use.
Application
Textile chemical sorbents are used to sorb the most aggressive liquids, including acids, hydroxides or unknown liquids. They allow for easy, quick and safe cleaning. They are particularly suitable for chemical plants and wherever hazardous and aggressive chemicals are handled.
The use of these sorbents will ensure:
Perforation
Perforation allows you to tear off the necessary piece of fabric and better use the sorbent surface area. With this CRLP 4060 sorbent, the transverse perforation allows it to adapt to the needs of a specific workplace, for example to cover rugged surfaces.
Packaging
The sorbents are supplied in a practical dispensing box to protect them from contamination and deterioration before use. It helps to preserve sorption capacity (with area under long-term loading, sorption capacity can be reduced by loss of free volume). This packaging makes the sorbent ready for immediate use.
Sorbent ranges
The STANDARD series textile sorbents are made of microfibrous non-woven polypropylene fabric without ultrasonic coating. This means that they have a large internal volume and the loose microfibres ensure very fast sorption and high sorption capacity. The sorbents in this range are particularly useful where large quantities of leaked liquids need to be extracted and where it is not necessary to walk or walk over the sorbents.
Disposal of used sorbents
Disposal of used sorbents is governed by the properties of the absorbed liquids, by internal guidelines for handling chemicals and also by law - important laws are No. 185/2001 Coll. on waste or No. 350/2011 Coll. on chemicals and mixtures. We recommend that hazardous waste is handed over to a specialist company for the disposal of hazardous substances.
