Worm Domitherm ASH-2

The DOMITHERM ASH-2 wormhole is a fully autonomous aerosol volume extinguishing system designed for automatic protection of enclosed spaces against fire. The system uses rapid detection via a detection cable and effectively limits the combustion process by reducing the oxygen concentration in the protected space. A single ASH-2 unit protects a volume of up to 2 m³, while up to 15 units can be connected within a linked DOMITHERM system to protect a space of up to 30 m³. The system is suitable for attics, cellars, cottages, flammable liquid stores, server rooms, rack cabinets, computer rooms, IT workplaces and other technical or storage areas.

Are you interested in the DOMITHERM ASH-2 automatic volume extinguishing system or do you need advice on choosing a suitable solution? Contact our fire specialist on +420 773 791 097. We will be happy to prepare an individual protection design for your building.

Worm Domitherm ASH-2

The DOMITHERM ASH-2 is an autonomous aerosol fire extinguishing system designed for automatic fire fighting in confined spaces. The system is designed to react at the initial stage of a fire and prevent it from spreading.

How does the system work?

The device uses a detection cable that continuously monitors the protected area. When the temperature rises to a critical level, the system is automatically activated and extinguishing aerosol is released. The aerosol quickly hits the space and interrupts the burning process.

What kind of space can the system protect?

One ASH-2 unit is designed to protect a space of up to 2 m³.

In the case of larger spaces, the individual units can be connected to form a DOMITHERM system:

1 ASH-2 unit = protection of 2 m³
Maximum of 15 units connected
total protected volume up to 30 m³

What happens when one unit is activated?

The great advantage of the DOMITHERM system is the possibility of connecting multiple units. As soon as one unit is activated, all other linked units in the system are automatically activated at the same time. This ensures that the protected area is filled quickly and evenly with extinguishing aerosol.

How does the system extinguish the fire?

The system uses a special aerosol extinguishing agent that interferes with the chemical reaction of combustion while limiting the amount of oxygen available to the fire. This results in very rapid suppression or complete extinguishment of the fire.

Is the system dependent on electricity?

No. The DOMITHERM ASH-2 is designed as a stand-alone fire suppression system that does not require a complex infrastructure or a permanent operator.

Where can the DOMITHERM ASH-2 be used?

The system is particularly suitable for protection:

Attics and attics,
basements,
cottages and holiday homes,
storage of flammable liquids,
server rooms,
hosting rooms,
rack cabinets,
computer rooms,
IT workplaces,
technology cabinets,
electrical equipment,
storage areas with higher fire risks.

Is the system suitable for electronics protection?

Yes. Thanks to the fast activation and the aerosol extinguishing principle, the system is also suitable for the protection of servers, network elements, rack cabinets and other technological equipment.

How is the system installed?

The devices can be installed individually or as part of a linked DOMITHERM system. The number of units is designed according to the volume of space to be protected and the required level of protection.

What are the main advantages of the DOMITHERM ASH-2 system?

Fully autonomous operation,
automatic activation by means of a detection cable,
very fast response to an emerging fire,
aerosol extinguishing without complex piping,
protection of spaces from 2 to 30 m³,
up to 15 units can be connected,
simultaneous activation of all connected devices,
effective oxygen limitation in the protected area,
suitable for technical and storage areas,
ideal protection for server rooms, rack cabinets and IT technology,
minimal maintenance requirements,
reliable protection of assets against fire.
