ČERVINKA FIRE PAD 2,5 x 8 cm

The ČERVINKA FIRE PAD is a modern fire protection device designed primarily for the protection of electrical wiring, distribution cabinets, transformers and other sensitive components. It is designed to operate reliably even in small and hard-to-reach areas where there is a risk of overheating or electrical short circuit.

How does it work?

The device activates automatically when the temperature reaches 100 °C. At that moment, it releases a special extinguishing gas, perfluorohexanone, which, thanks to its cooling effect, quickly reduces the temperature below the sustainable burning limit and immediately stops the spread of the fire. This method of extinguishing is not only effective and fast, but also completely safe - there is no damage to electronics and no risk to personal health.

Where is FIRE PAD used?

Its use is very wide. It is most often installed in electrical cabinets, switches, circuit breakers, but it serves equally well in data centers, server rooms, industrial plants, near motors or in transformers. Its compact dimensions of 2.5 × 8 cm make it suitable for enclosed spaces where conventional fire extinguishing technology cannot be used.

How to install?

Installation is as simple as possible. The FIRE PAD is equipped with a strong magnet so that it can simply be placed in the equipment to be protected, usually at the highest point where overheating is most likely to occur. Installation requires no tools or specialist personnel and takes just seconds. If necessary, the device can be easily relocated.

Is the equipment safe?

Yes, the extinguishing gas used is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and completely safe for human health and the equipment itself. It does not damage the ozone layer (ODP = 0), has minimal impact on the climate (GWP ≈ 1) and decomposes in the atmosphere within a few days. Test results confirm zero risk of carcinogenicity, low acute toxicity and no allergic effects on the skin.

How long does it last and what space does it protect?

The lifetime of the device is up to 10 years, so it is a long-term and reliable protection solution. FIRE PAD is functional repeatedly until the extinguishing agent is completely released. FIRE PAD 2.5 × 8 cm is designed to protect a volume of approximately 8 litres, up to 20 litres of air in tight enclosures, which is ideal for small, confined spaces where there would otherwise be a high risk of fire.
